KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- FFM Grains & Mills Sdn Bhd, formerly known as FFM Flour Mills (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, has awarded a mill construction contract worth RM26.68 million to Minsec Engineering Services Sdn Bhd, a unit of Singapore-based Wilmar International Ltd.
FFM Grains is 100 per cent-owned subsidiary of FFM Bhd, which in turn, is 80 per cent-owned by PPB Group Bhd.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, PPB Group said the contract was for the construction of a 500-metric tonne per day flour mill together with associated works at its existing premises in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
"The works are expected to commence this month and scheduled to be completed in about 17 months," it said.
