Syed Faisal to resign as Malakoff CEO

PETALING JAYA: Malakoff Corporation Bhd announced that its CEO Datuk Seri Syed Faisal Albar Syed A.R Albar will resign from his position effective Dec 31, to pursue other career opportunities.

The company told the stock exchange yesterday that it will immediately look into succession planning for the CEO position.

Syed Faisal, aged 50, joined Malakoff in July 2014. He holds 203,700 shares in Malakoff pursuant to the company’s initial public offering.
